Ranpro Inc. Celebrates Three Years of Safety

Simcoe, ON (Ranpro) – Ranpro Inc., is proud to achieve another milestone in its 145 year history, as they reach the three year mark with no lost-time accidents at their manufacturing plant located on Ireland Road, Simcoe.

With more than 80 employees, three years without a single lost time accident is an impressive feat and one which was made possible by a dedicated joint Health and Safety Committee comprised of Ranpro employee-volunteers.

Ranpro began their journey towards the safest possible work environment by becoming a member of the WSIB Safety Group through the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium, which defines a lost time accident as one in which an employee is injured at work in a manner which results in necessary recuperation  time away from work.

“We are very proud of this achievement as it comes as result of the commitment and a lot of hard work from our Health & Safety Committee”, says Ranpro Plant Manager, John Evans. The sentiment is echoed by Ranpro’s Vice President of Operations, Bob Richardson.  “Safety is everyone’s responsibility and I think our staff has shown just how possible it is to operate both efficiently and safely.”

Ranpro reached its third year without a lost time accident on August 15^th and staff will celebrate their achievement with a company wide recognition ceremony and luncheon on September 23. 2010.
